PREMIER INTERSCHOOL’S DERBY TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Paarl Gimnasium vs Paarl Boys' High

Premier Interschools is a series of 12 matches, which feature the highest profile and most traditional interschool rugby rivalries, from South Africa’s top rugby schools which are broadcast live on SuperSport from March to August.

Paarl Gimnasium will take on Paarl Boys’ High at Faure street stadium on Saturday, 05 August 2017 at 15h55. The match will be televised live on SuperSport Ten from 15h50.

Some Players really deserving of their inclusion to the squad. Just sad & thinking how certain players can be proud of being in the squad knowing they are only their because of the quota system. Others should just not be proud of being there for the fact that they are not the best or inform player in his position. To me it's all about merrit & being on form, it does not matter what the colour of your skin is, how old you are or what team you play for. Players must be chosen in the correct way & that is being in form to be chosen on merrit. I will always support the boks, but this year it's with a heavy heart & deep sadness as our rugby squads are ruined & demoralised by government interference. Difficult to be positive..... Happy with most of the players in the squad, unlucky for Rohan Jane van Rensburg. The most inform inside centre at the moment, but left out because of the quota system......
